Colostrum milk kheer
Ingredients
1. colostrum milk
2. Rice
3. Dry fruits
4. Jaggery or sugar
5. Elaichi
Process
1. Take rice in a bowl and and wash it. After that strain the water and keep aside for 5 mins.
2. Put the milk in the pan or kadhai on stove on a medium flame as we do not want the milk to tear apart fast.
3. Take the rice and mash it with your hands. The rice breaks into pieces(this helps your rice to cook soon).
4. Put it in the milk and stir.
5. Put it in a low flme and stir in between as we don't want our rice to stick to the bottom.
6. Now almost when the rice is half cooked we can see the milk also starts to tear apart.
Keep stirring at low flame(because the water that separates from the colostrum milk evaporates quickly and we don't want the rice to be half cooked).
7. Now when half the water is evaporated add jaggery or sugar(i have used jaggery)and dry fruits to it.
8. Keep stirring in between until only very few water is left.
9. Your kheer is ready. Now add elaichi powder to it.
10. Serve it warm or cold. Tastes good in both forms. (It is very good for health especially for kids).
